Terms of service

1. Agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and GLI CONSULTS, operator of the Atupa platform. By creating an account or completing a FRICS assessment you accept them.

If you use Atupa on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. SME and funder accounts are separate; funder and administrator access is provisioned by us.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Accuracy of the information you submit

Your FRICS score is calculated from the answers and evidence you provide. Submitting inaccurate or misleading information invalidates the score and may result in suspension of your account and revocation of your FRICS ID.

4. What the FRICS score is and is not

FRICS is an assessment of funding readiness. It is not a credit rating, an offer of finance, a guarantee of funding, investment advice, or a promise that any funder will engage with you.

Scores, bands, action plans and AI-generated narratives are provided for guidance. Funding decisions remain entirely with each financier.

5. Funder access and consent

Funders see anonymised pipeline information by default. Your full file becomes visible to a funder only after you grant that funder consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Funders must use platform data only to evaluate a potential financing relationship. Bulk extraction, resale, scraping and onward disclosure are prohibited.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe the platform for vulnerabilities, impersonate another business, upload malicious files, or use Atupa for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

7. Fees

The FRICS assessment, score, action plan and FRICS ID are free. Readiness programmes and advisory engagements delivered by GLI CONSULTS, and any transaction services through GLI CAPITAL, are quoted and contracted separately.

8. Intellectual property

The FRICS framework, scoring methodology, platform software and brand belong to GLI CONSULTS. You keep ownership of the business data you submit and grant us a licence to process it to deliver the services described here.

9. Availability and liability

Atupa is provided on an as-available basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or that the platform is free of errors.

To the extent permitted by law, GLI CONSULTS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or funding outcomes arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. On closure we retain records only as long as needed for legal, audit or dispute purposes, as set out in the privacy policy.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Material changes will be published on this page and notified to account holders before taking effect.
